Welcome to the M.A.R.S. Club. AMA Chartered Club # 991
The Mars RC Flying Club. We are a group of model aircraft enthusiasts in and
around the Pittsburgh, PA region. Our field is located about 5 miles north of
Zelionople, PA.

Please Take Notice !
- If you bring it with you,
take it home. Please
keep the field neat.
- If CMU is test flying, all
club aircraft are to be
grounded and radios
turned off. Check the
bulletin board "Field
Status" Forum for latest
CMU schedule.
- Please be sure not to
exceed the 10 mph
speed limit on the roads
leading to the field.
Anytime we have a
special event, be sure to
remind friends and family
of the speed limit.
The dust from the road
can get excessive when
the speed limit is
exceeded. Lets be
respective of the
neighbors on the road
leading to our field.

- Spring Picnic June 6
- Work Day June 26
It’s been a long cold and snow filled winter yet the sunshine has
returned to our wondrous runway. On JUNE 6 at 10am we will be
holding the Spring Picnic where all can show off our winter
projects, make their first flight of the season, or just come out and
enjoy the food and company. Flying will start at 10am while lunch
will be served at 12:30. To help offset some costs and add spice
to the picnic, We would ask if you’re able to bring a dish, chips, or
beverage to be shared. It is also recommend bring a canopy for
shade and a chair. And by all means, don’t forget your flying gear.

HAS BEEN SET FOR JUNE 26, 2010, THIS IS FOR STAINING
THE SWING SET AND PAINTING THE REAR OF THE SHED
AND THE FLIGHT BENCHES. JOHN F. WILL MAKE SURE THAT
THERE WILL BE PAINT, STAIN, BRUSHES, AND NECESSARY
SUPPLIES FOR THE JOB. IF YOU HAVE ELECTRIC SANDERS
OR STRIPPING ATTACHMENTS FOR A DRILL PLEASE BRING
